1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our synthetic data generation service ("Purify"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use Purify.

2. Purify Description

Purify provides synthetic data generation capabilities for testing, development, and analytical purposes. Purify is intended to be used for legitimate business purposes only.

3. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Uses

Users of Purify agree not to:

  • Generate synthetic data that mimics or represents illegal activities, including but not limited to fraud, money laundering, or terrorist activities
  • Create data that could be used to harm, harass, or discriminate against individuals or groups
  • Generate personally identifiable information (PII) without proper authorization
  • Use Purify to create deceptive or misleading information
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the synthetic data generation algorithms
  • Use Purify to circumvent security measures or privacy protections
  • Share access credentials or allow unauthorized users to access Purify

4. Data Usage and Privacy

By using Purify, you agree that:

  • Any data uploaded to Purify for training or reference purposes must be legally obtained and owned by you or licensed for such use
  • You will not upload sensitive personal information, protected health information, or other regulated data without proper authorization and compliance measures
  • You are responsible for ensuring that your use of synthetic data complies with applicable laws and regulations
  • We may monitor Purify usage to prevent abuse and ensure compliance with these Terms

5. Intellectual Property Rights

Purify, including its software, algorithms, and user interface, is protected by intellectual property laws. Users retain ownership of their input data and the synthetic data generated from it, subject to the following conditions:

  • Generated synthetic data must not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights
  • We maintain the right to use anonymized patterns and insights from Purify usage to improve our algorithms
  • Users grant us a limited license to process and store input data necessary for Purify operation

6. Security Requirements

Users must:

  • Implement appropriate security measures to protect access credentials
  • Report any suspected unauthorized access or security breaches immediately
  • Use secure methods for data transmission to and from Purify
  • Regularly review and update security practices related to Purify usage

7. Compliance and Monitoring

We reserve the right to monitor Purify usage for compliance with these Terms. This includes:

  • Automated scanning of input data and generation patterns for prohibited content
  • Review of unusual usage patterns or suspicious activities
  • Investigation of reported violations
  • Cooperation with law enforcement when required by law

8. Purify Limitations and Warranties

Purify is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:

  • The accuracy or quality of synthetic data generated
  • Uninterrupted or error-free Purify
  • Suitability of generated data for specific purposes
  • Compatibility with all systems or applications

9. Liability and Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless our company, its employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Misuse of Purify or generated data
  • Unauthorized access to Purify
  • Violation of applicable laws or regulations

10. Purify Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Purify for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Suspected fraudulent or malicious activity
  • Non-payment of fees
  • Extended period of inactivity

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of Purify constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California. For any such action, you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in the state and federal courts located in San Francisco, California.

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other state laws. Nothing in these Terms will diminish any rights granted under California state law that cannot be voluntarily waived or limited by contract.

Any claim or dispute under these Terms must be brought within one (1) year after the cause of action arises, or such claim or cause of action shall be barred. Both parties agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
